Our Activities:
- Running a free Legal Aid Clinic at Vivekananda Nagar (3 No Srinagar Gate,Madhyamgram) for
5 days a week from 11.00am to 5.00 p.m for women, children and senior citizens. We provide
free legal advice & counseling to the victims of gender violence.
- Conducting Para Legal Training.
- Conducting Legal Awareness Programme in Urban, Semi urban and rural areas of West Bengal
covering topics on Gender disparity, Gender violence, women friendly laws etc.
- Conducting sensitization programmes for adolescents and youth on issues related to gender
violence against women and specific laws related to women. During these programmes we
also identify change makers and empower them through training so that they can act as
“Change Agents” in the community.
- Publishing books,articles,journals in English and Bengali on different laws and issues related to
women and their distribution among different stakeholders.
- Arrange health check up and eye check up camp on regular basis.
